HOLDING THE FORT.

The military were ranged in companies along the platform from Camden Station down. The crowd was great around the station, but at that time there were not threatening demonstrations immediately on Camden street, the main body of rioters being on Lee street and along Ohio avenue, at the lower portion of the station. A good many passengers were in the depot expecting to leave on the late trains, including several frightened ladies.
