I am daily expecting Mr. Durant and cannot make arrangements for the future until I hear something definite from the Doctor. Mr. Ham, the tool of Ames & Co., is trying to overhaul our books and vouchers. He will not find out much until I get word from the Doctor to give him access to the books and papers.
