Friend John

I returned on Saturday night from the Pawnee chase and found your several letters awaiting my return.

Nothing is being done with Land Warrants to speak of, but I will immediately make out a statement and forward you all proceeds of sales.

Shall go down the River again in a few days. Warrants sell @ 93-95 now and few in town. No persons here entering land.

All well, whipt the Indians, traveled 400 miles and had a hard time.

Yours truly

J McConihe

Mr Walker will explain fully to your satisfaction about Warrants Will write you fully in a day or two. There has not been eight Warrants sold in Omaha since I went West. I will pull off my coat and do all I can.
