Dear Sir I will write you again in regards to your land in SE 6𧯛5 if you will sell and what is your lowest figures are as I have land in the same sec on the west and on the east and if you wont [sic] sell can I lease it for three years will pay taxes let me have the first offer if you will sell I have been here for fifteen years I have some cattle and would like to have the land to graze my cattle on I have bought 1/2 are [sic] this last week paid 200.00 (two hundred) a qu. that runs from 150.00 to 250.00 if you will sell
let me have the first chance let me hear from you soon I have had mr [J ] Crumly of Colby to write to you but he could get no reply he said he thought you are a fraid [sic] of land agents I am an agent I am a farmer and dont [sic] make much at it we had it dry the fore part of the summer and in any we figure to have rains then got hail that knocked my corn all out but have got plenty of feed for stalls
