Göteborg
Feb. 5th 1872
Dear Sir,
Having returned from Copenhagen last Thursday, I have the honor of submitting report of proceedings there, as well as Expense a/c for January, which you will find herewith enclosed.
Emigration from those parts promises better than from these. At least such seemed to be the opinion of the Emigrant [?] from the north of Schleswig there will probably be a very large emigration.
Of the circular which I have issued here, I have had tro[?] and printed 10,000 copies for distribution in Denmark & Norway. 5,000 for each country. W. Horneman Agt. of Allan Line and N. P. Fredrikson Agt. Baltischer Lloyd direct line have consented to send them out with their circulars. They will thus go out into all portions of the countries. Mr. Fredrickson will take special interest in the [?] and I have promised him the 1% Commission.
