I leave in the morning for Fort Saunders and may go through to Salt Lake before returning. Do not expect to be gone more than three weeks. While absent the office will he moved to Fort Saunders. Doctor Durant is at Saunders. I have not seen much of him yet. Push is the word for this season. The first section of twenty miles has been examined by the commissioners and the second section will be ready Thursday night. Dr. White, General Blair and General Beauford enquired for you and wish to be remembered.
