Union Pacific Railroad,
Office of the Supt. & Engr. of Construction.

H. C. Crane Secry

Dear Sir

I sent you Boomer's bill for raising one [span] of truss bridge at Crow Creek.

All the former bills have been paid in N. York. Mr. Dillon gave me orders not to settle with Boomer for the three [spars] of truss bridges contracted for last winter which order has not been countermanded.

Please deduct $100.00/100 paid to Boomer's foreman.

Yours very respectfully
Saml. B. Reed
